We celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary over the weekend. (Can I get an amen for a great babysitter 🙌🏻) One of our topics of conversation over dinner was our expectations vs. reality. At 15, I had no clue how wild my life would be with my new boyfriend. The 22 year old in this picture also had no idea what she was getting herself into. I’m grateful that I was so blissfully unaware because it has been such a pleasure growing up and becoming more of ourselves together with this man, even through the wild and unexpected. I think some of my best choices have come with some sense of blissful unawareness. Life is sort of one giant trust fall anyway..
